At the Annual General meeting in Vienna, ASCE elected new president. It's the CEO of Pogrebno podjetje Maribor.

At the Annual General meeting in Vienna ASCE elected new president and steering committe of ASCE. Lidija Plibersek, general manager of the Funeral services of Maribor, was elected president for the next period of 4 years, when new elections will take place.
As the new president, Lidija set a daring and challenging vision for the ASCE:
To get
every European citizen
in touch
with European cultures
resting in cemeteries.
Not only the message, Lidija exposed a plan of actions on how ASCE can and must accomplish this vision:
"It is a responsibility that we as members of the ASCE have. It is a task that we should develop and fullfill. It is what we can and must do."
